Des-Case Fluid Handling Dedicated Filtration
Des-Case Point-of-Delivery Water Separators
Des-Case Point-of-Delivery Water Separators effectively remove large quantities of free and emulsified water, as well as particulates, from diesel fuel and light viscosity oils using centrifugal force and depth filtration.
How These Systems Work
These systems utilize a coalescing chamber rather than a coalescing element to separate water from diesel fuel. Coalescing chambers provide permanent and optimal water removal, with no replacement of costly coalescing elements.
The water is held in the bottom of the canister chamber until it is drained off with the drain valve. A sight glass is included so the operator knows when to drain the water.
Above the coalescing chamber are the depth filtration canisters for particle contamination removal. These canisters hold a 4 part, size 1000 depth element, which removes up to 10 pounds of soilds per element and filters down to 1-3 microns in size.
Point-of-Delivery water separators are ideal for Type 1 and 2 diesel fuel, as well as light (low viscosity) group I base oils. Ask Des-Case about our vacuum dehydration solutions for your Group II and Group III base oils.
