Schroeder Top-Ported Pressure Filters

Top-ported, return line filters are one of the most common configurations in hydraulic filtration.

Fluid is directed through the top of the filter, with inlet and outlet aligned above the element.

This high quality type of filtration is usually placed in line on the hydraulic circuit. Depending on the working pressure of the application, the filter is either placed before the application components or after.

Top-ported filters are found in an array of applications, such as:

Highest pressure (3000 – 6000 psi) to lowest setting in the industry (100 – 350 psi).
